Where does your jewellery go when it is not being worn?
We invite you to share how jewellery is kept in everyday life, artistic practice, or professional care. Whether it rests on a bedside table or beside a bathroom sink, is stored in a drawer or box, wrapped in bubble wrap, or placed in a museum collection cabinet, each form of storage reflects a distinct relationship between people and jewellery.
This public archive seeks to document these often-overlooked storage practices and explore how storage continues to shape the life of jewellery beyond wearing and display.
The project also forms part of my PhD research at the University of Edinburgh, which considers the potential of storage as an active design condition within contemporary jewellery practice.
