Jewellery together with where and how it is normally kept

Everyday Life

Untitled storage

When I’m not wearing my jewelry, I just set it on the table—somewhere visible, safe from getting lost, and clean. If possible, I’ll put it back in its original box, since that’s how it was meant to be stored when not in use. Actually, I really enjoy organizing jewelry boxes; the space inside feels private and mysterious. I once received a gift—a silver ring from a friend. She had already told me it was a silver ring when she gave it to me, but she wrote a message to me on the inside of the box lid and drew a cute, simple sketch on the ring-cleaning cloth. Every time I want to wear it, I see it, and I think that’s when the box itself takes on a new value—not just a jewelry box, but a container for memories.
